We want to make it even easier for parishioners to stay connected to what is going on in our Parish Community. These are some highlights for the upcoming month and are meant to help reinforce our bulletin, website and even our Parish Newsletter information. In addition to helping cut down on postage from parish mailings. **If you prefer to not get these monthly news updates there is an unsubscribe button on the bottom of this email. The emails we are using are what we have on file in our parish database ![]() St. Patrick's & St. Anthony's Parish Communiy 2009 Summer Festival is coming up quickly...... Lots of great ideas, volunteers and great sponsors..... join the volunteer team at our next meeting on July 7th at 6:30 in the Parish Family Center. We are going to break into groups according to where you want to volunteer and start getting to work. Everyone is needed to make this a success. Don't forget to get your raffle ticket packets at the Parish Offices or in the back of Church the next two weekends. Check it all out at our website. On Friday August 21st we will be hosting a Community Garage Sale, we are looking for anyone who would want to sell their own items in the sale. The cost of a spot is $20 and we take care of the location, advertising and you just need to be bring your sale items and what tables and/or tents you want to use. Sign up today by printing out the Community Garage Sale Application and submitting it to the Family Center with the $20 and we will hold your spot. On Saturday August 22nd we will be hosting a Community Festival Craft Show, we are looking for vendors. The cost is $40 for a12 X 12 spot, which includes lunch and a very visible spot at our large Parish Festival. Sign up for your spot today by printing out the Craft Show application and submitting it to the Family Center with the $40 application fee.
July, August and September Newsletter will soon be arriving in your homes by mail or email depending on how you want to receive it. We have had over 100 people request their newsletter to be sent by email and this has helped our postage costs tremendously. You can view the newsletter today by clicking the newsletter link above and go directly to the newsletter (it does take a few seconds to open). there is a signup sheet in teh Family Center for Coffee & Donuts. In order to keep this ministry going we desperatly need volunteers! Please prayerfully consider signing up with another family and coer one mass each. Please call 842-8230 or email Pam Hill to sign up today. If we don't have people to host we are forced to cancel this very important ministry. This week we are looking for canned pasta - Mayo, catsup, mustard, instant rice, pineapple, mixed fruit, laundry soap (100 oz or less), shampoo, tampons & Maxi pads, kitchen garbage bags (13 gal.) All Pantry items can be dropped off in the Food Pantry Box in the Narthex or Family Center Foyer. Gleaners truck Fridays, July 10th & 24th at 10 a.m. in the St. Patrick's Parking Lot. |
